FUJIFILM SETUP FILES — X-T5 & X100VI
====================================

Thanks for downloading my real-world Fujifilm setup files.
These contain the exact autofocus, button layout, Auto ISO, and shooting settings I use on the X-T5 and X100VI.

These settings were exported using Fujifilm X Acquire and can be restored easily to your own camera.
This is a great way to jumpstart your Fuji experience or fine-tune your camera with a proven, real-world setup.

--------------------------------------
How to Import the Settings (.DAT files)
--------------------------------------

1. Download and install FUJIFILM X Acquire (official software for Mac/Windows)

2. On your camera (X-T5 or X100VI), go to:
MENU → Setup (Wrench icon) → Connection Setting → USB Mode
   Set the following:
   - USB Power Supply/Comm: AUTO or ON
   - PC Connection Mode: USB RAW CONV./BACKUP RESTORE

3. Connect your camera to your computer using a USB cable and turn it on.

4. Open the X Acquire app and select:
   "Restore Camera Settings"
Then choose the matching `.DAT` file for your camera (e.g., XT5_Settings.DAT or X100VI_Settings.DAT).

⚠️ NOTE:
X Acquire will not show a confirmation message.
The green data access light on the back of the camera may blink for 30–90 seconds.

Once that stops, turn the camera off, wait a moment, then turn it back on.

--------------------------------------
How to Confirm the Settings Were Applied
--------------------------------------

After restoring, verify the following:

✓ AF Mode is set to ZONE
✓ Fn1 toggles Face/Eye Detection
✓ Auto ISO settings reflect your custom shutter and ISO limits
✓ Film Simulations C1–C7 are set up
✓ Q Menu and button layout match what's shown in my videos and articles

--------------------------------------
Which File is Which?
--------------------------------------

• XT5_Settingsfile.DAT → Settings file for the Fujifilm X-T5
• X100VI_Settingsfile.DAT → Settings file for the Fujifilm X100VI

This setup is based on years of real-world shooting — travel, family, and documentary work — and designed to get out of your way so you can focus on what matters: making photographs.

Enjoy!
